You will need:
One oatmeal box
Glue
String
Scissors
Colored paper
Crepe paper streamers

Instructions:

Use the scissors and cut the bottom off from the oatmeal box.

Cover your oatmeal box with colored paper.

Cut the crepe paper streamers and glue or staple them to one end of the oatmeal box.

Punch four holes along the other end of the wind sock where you didn't put the paper streamers and the end with the holes will be the top.

Tie 2 peices of string about a foot long to the wind sock in the holes you punched.

Take your wind sock outside and find a place to hang it.

To Make a wind sock for 4th of July, use red, blue and white colors. Cover the box with blue construction paper and then glue on white construction paper stars and use red and white streamers on your windsock.
